Home ยป Mathematics for SATs (Year 6) ยป Read and write numbers to 10,000,000 (Part 3)

Until now, we have been counting ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, and hundreds of thousands separately. Example: 15,025 = 1 ten thousand, 5 thousands, 2 tens, and 5 ones.

To simplify things, from now, we will count ones, tens, and hundreds as ones, and thousands, tens of thousands, and hundreds of thousands as thousands.

Example: 15,025 will become 15 thousands, and 25 ones.

Complete the sentences by writing numbers in numerals. Donโ€™t include any symbols.

    Example: one thousand: 1000
